MTS TOUR # 2

MWC / ARGENTINA

Led by Eileen and Lester Graybill.

July 11 – 29, 2009. Tour of IGUAZU Falls, Buenos Aires and central Argentina following Assembly Gathered. Purpose of the tour is to visit Mennonite churches and provide opportunities to interact with our Argentine brothers and sisters. Eileen spent her first 18 years there with her missionary parents and has returned a number of times.

MACHU PICCHU/AMAZON/BRAZILIAN BEACHES/IGUAZU/ASSEMBLY

Led by Phyllis and Keith Stuckey, former mission service workers in Brazil.
July 3 – 19, 2009. See the scenic beauty of South America in a travel style that fosters learning from the local culture. Culminate the experience at MWC in Asuncion. All are welcome, special attention to younger adults and those young in spirit.

PARAGUAY AND IGUAZU FALLS.

Led by father and daughter team Rusty and Hannah Bonham (Rusty, ordained minister of the PNWC, Hannah on staff with Willow Creek Chicago.
July 08 – 23, 2009. The Bonhams lived in Paraguay, served in the medical mission of the Chaco Mennonites to the indigenous tribes. Continue their connection, with family members in East Paraguay, Asuncion, and Chaco.

RIDGEVIEW MENNONITE CHURCH PARAGUAY/IGUAZU FALLS

Led by Pastor John Denlinger accompanied by Nancy Stolzfus a world traveled and knowledgeable guide.
July 8 – 23, 2009. The program will include a visit to the Chaco, Assembly Gathered and Iguazu Falls.

July 10 – 24, 2009.This tour includes the history of Mennonite settlements and current industries, missions and churches. The Chaco, Iguazu Falls and Assembly Gathered.

SET TOUR # 2

CHACO, ASSEMBLY GATHERED, IGUAZU FALLS AND PERU.

Led by Helen Funk/John Bestvater July 8 – 25, 2009.
This tour includes visits to Mennonite Colonies, Assembly Gathered, Iguazu Falls, and concludes with Peru (Lima, Cuzco, and Machu Picchu).

TM TOUR # 1

BRAZIL, IGUAZU FALLS, PARAGUAY AND ASSEMBLY GATHERED.

Led by Menno Epp and John Ruth. July 2 – 20, 2009.
Learning about Mennonites in various communities in Brazil, seeing the spectacular Iguazu Falls, visiting Mennonite Colonies in East Paraguay and the Chaco and attending Assembly.

TM TOUR # 2

CHILE, URUGUAY, PARAGUAY AND ASSEMBLY GATHERED (WITH MENNONITE CHURCH CANADA).

Led by Tim Froese and Wilmer Martin.July 5 – 20, 2009.
Tour planned to learn from churches in Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay and to support Mennonite Church Canada Witness partners in various locations. Includes sightseeing in Valparaiso, Chile and Iguazu Falls.

TM TOUR # 3

IGUAZU FALLS, PARAGUAY AND ASSEMBLY GATHERED.

Led by Edgar Stoesz and Audrey Voth Petkau.July 9 – 20, 2009.
This tour begins at Iguazu Falls in Brazil and travels to Paraguay to visit Mennonite colonies in East Paraguay and the Chaco prior to attending the MWC Global Assembly.

TM TOUR # 4

IGUAZU FALLS, PARAGUAY, ASSEMBLY GATHERED AND PERU (WITH MEDA).

Led by Ed and Norilynn Epp.J uly 10 – 24, 2009.
Planned with Mennonite Economic Development Associates to visit MEDA projects to see how MEDA has and is making a difference in Paraguay and Peru, as well as seeing Iguazu Falls and Machu Picchu.

TM TOUR # 5

ASSEMBLY GATHERED, PARAGUAY AND BOLIVIA (WITH MEDA).

Led by Allan Sauder, President of MEDA and his wife Donna Snyder.
July 12 – 25, 2009. After Assembly Gathered, this tour will visit Bolivia and Paraguay to see how MEDA’s legacy of economic development has impacted generations of families and how its partnerships are beginning to impact new generations.

TM TOUR # 6

ASSEMBLY GATHERED, PARAGUAY AND PERU.

Led by Edgar Stoesz and Wilmer Martin.
July 12 – 29, 2009. Visits Iguazu Falls on the way to Assembly Gathered. After the Assembly, visits Mennonite colonies in East Paraguay and the Chaco, before going to Peru and seeing the impressive ruins of Machu Picchu.

TM TOUR # 7

PARAGUAY, IGUAZU FALLS & ASSEMBLY GATHERED.

Led by Rudolf Duerksen, who was born in Paraguay and lived there most of his life, and Fred Redecop. July 8 – 20, 2009. This tour starts by visiting Mennonite colonies in the Chaco and in East Paraguay before visiting the spectacular Iguazu Falls in Brazil, and attending the Assembly Gathered in Asuncion.
