Honolulu, Hawaii July 23, 2010

Hotel accommodations in the beautiful Outrigger Luana Waikiki Hotel in the heart of Waikiki will be our base for experiencing the BWA Congress, the BWA Women’s Leadership Conference, and for tours of Honolulu and Oahu

Departing from Canada on Friday, July 23rd 2010

Returning on Tuesday, August 3rd, this 12 day /10 night provides a wonderful balance of guided tours, conference events and free time to choose activities in your own interest areas. Travel with fellow Baptists from across Canada to experience the richness of our worldwide family of God in one of the most beautiful settings in the world! Say Aloha to a wonderful and memorable 12 day experience in Hawaii with us.

Itinerary

Friday, July 23rd – Travel from your departure city and arrive into Honolulu. After you have picked up your luggage, you will be transferred to your hotel after receiving a traditional Hawaiian Lei.

Saturday, July 24th – Your morning will consist of a Honolulu City Tour as well as the USS Arizona Memorial (Pearl Harbor). This will be a 9am departure from your hotel. The afternoon is time to take in the beach, or why not try your hand at a round of golf on one of the island’s numerous courses. The women will be checking in for their conference.

Sunday, July 25th – Participate in Morning Worship. Women will continue with their conference while the afternoon if free for optional activities - fishing, sunset cruise, walking tour or beach time are all options.

Monday, July 26th - Women's Leadership conference continues. Free day for the others, with optional possibilities the International Market Place (anything and everything to remind you of Hawaii for sale here), the Pacific Aviation Museum, or the Aquarium.

Tuesday, July 27th – Women finish up their conference by 11am. The afternoon will take you to the Polynesian Cultural Center for a taste of Polynesia that cannot be duplicated. Bus departs the hotel at 12 noon.

Wednesday, July 28th – A 9am departure will have you taking a tour of the whole island! Sit back and relax while your guide gives you the history of the islands all the while breathtaking views from your seat. Return time is approximately 3pm to your hotel.

Friday, July 30th – Conference

Saturday July 31st - Conference

Sunday, August 1st – Participate in Morning Worship. Afternoon is followed by free time. The evening will be off to a great start at Germaine’s Luau. This is an experience you will be sure not to forget as you experience Polynesian Hospitality while watching the sun set! Don’t forget your grass skirts! 

Monday August 2nd – Enjoy your last day in Hawaii with beach time, shopping opportunities, or the chance to revisit in greater depth any of the attractions in and around Honolulu. A Late check out from the hotel will be requested and evening departure flight back to Canada.
